All of us at Bluejack National are honored to receive so many favorable mentions in newspapers, magazines and radio/TV. As we enter 2015, our local team continues to work closely with Tiger Woods and Tiger Woods Design to meet the anticipated opening later this year.
Golf Magazine selected Bluejack National among its 9 most anticipated new courses planned for openings in 2015. We’ve provided a link to the article on Golf.com.

MONTGOMERY – Tiger Woods leaned forward in a golf cart and looked pensively at the landscape ahead of him, studying the curves and angles.
It was covered in red clay and John Deere tire marks. But Woods could see what it will become.
On a piece of hilly land north of Houston, tucked into the 100-foot pine and oak trees in Montgomery county, is the home of Bluejack National – the first golf course in the United States designed by Woods.
The private course is set to open in October 2015.
Woods paid a visit to the property on Monday morning, while he was en route to Cabo San Lucas, where the first course he designed, Diamante, will open on Tuesday.
Woods was pleased with the progress of Bluejack, the kind of course he says will cater to every golfer at every level.
He chose the property, which was formerly Blaketree National Golf Club, because of its terrain and scenery.
“I’ve been to Houston many times and I never, ever thought that Houston had hills,” Woods said. I always thought it was a very flat city. To come out here, it was totally different to see this type of topography. It just blew my mind.”
Blaketree National provided a great piece of the land for the development, but the course won’t be the same. It has been completely overhauled from its original form.

Tiger Woods opened his beautifully-designed El Cardonal Course at Diamante in Cabo San Lucas on Mexico’s Baja California in mid-December, 2014. El Cardonal at Diamanted is Tiger’s very first course to open, and more will follow. Scheduled next up is Tiger’s first design in the United States, our very own Bluejack National just outside Houston, TX.
USA Today ran a story about Tiger’s participation in the El Cardonal Course opening, including a few comments from Michael Abbott, President of Beacon Land Development which is developing Bluejack National. You can read the entire USA Today story here.
We’re very proud of our association with Tiger and his team at Tiger Woods Design. The countdown is on for our opening later in 2015, so we hope you’ll stay tuned for all the news on this exciting project at our Bluejack National website.
Bluejack National continues to receive very favorable news stories in the Greater Houston area and from around the country. MyFox Houston (FOX 26 News) discussed Bluejack National with Tiger Woods during his recent visit and filed this video that appeared on the station in late 2014.
